What dream are you currently turning into reality?

I’m currently turning my dream of being a full-time creative—capturing stories through photo, video and design—into a reality. I get to work with brands I genuinely love, create meaningful content, and build a business that feels aligned with who God created me to be. It still blows my mind that this is my actual job.

When did you first realize you discovered your dream?

I think I always knew I was meant to create, but I didn’t know how it would ever become a full-time career. Things really shifted for me in my first full-time job at Uncommon James. I worked closely with the founder, Kristin Cavallari, who trusted me and gave me opportunities that truly showed me what I was capable of.

Traveling to Mexico for my first campaign shoot was a defining moment. I remember sitting at a table with incredibly talented people from LA I admired and thinking, “How did I get here?” But the truth is, it wasn’t just one moment. It was a mix of hard work, God’s direction, and a steady, gentle whisper telling me to keep following this path.

How does your faith go hand in hand with pursuing your dream?

My faith is the foundation of everything I do. Building a creative career can feel uncertain at times, and it requires a level of trust that’s bigger than me. God has opened doors I couldn’t have forced open myself. He’s also given me peace, clarity, and direction when I chose to walk away from a stable 9-5 job. My career is literally a testimony of what happens when you say “yes” even when you don’t have the whole plan.

What’s one or two practical steps you take to keep moving forward?

Goal setting & planning — I set clear weekly and monthly goals to keep myself grounded and moving steadily forward. Structure gives me peace.

Daily time with God — I follow The Bible Recap and do my best to listen 10-20 mins every day. I love highlighting and taking notes in my Bible which is just a fun way to stay in The Word for me. Quiet moments reset me. It helps me surrender control and stay rooted instead of overwhelmed.

What encouragement would you share with someone who’s going after their dream?

Don’t wait to feel “ready.” God equips you as you move. The dream He placed in you is intentional, and He doesn’t call you to something without preparing the way. Stay obedient, stay consistent, and remember that small steps count. The breakthrough often happens on the other side of simple faithfulness.
