Quincy Rice
Quincy is an Atlanta-based content creator and storyteller, currently serving on the team at Passion City Church. His work centers on capturing and sharing what the Lord is doing in the room, creating video content for Passion City Church’s Atlanta, global, conference, and creative Instagram accounts, and translating those moments into visual stories that extend beyond the room.
Whether documenting gatherings or shaping digital narratives, his approach is rooted in authenticity and intention, holding both the weight and the wonder of each moment. Quincy’s work lives at the intersection of creativity and calling, using visual storytelling to help people see, experience, and respond to the presence of God, both in the room and on social media.
What dream are you currently turning into reality?
The dream I’m currently turning into reality is using my creative gifts to help build the Big C Church. In my role as Content Creator at Passion City Church, I get to create videos that capture what God is doing in the room and share those moments across our Atlanta, global, conference, and creative accounts. Being part of helping people experience and respond to God, even online, is something I’ve always dreamed of and it’s incredibly meaningful to live that out with purpose every day.
When did you first realize you discovered your dream?
I first started to recognize my calling during my residency at Passion City Church, a season where things began to click, where what I loved to do and how I wanted to serve the Lord started to come together. It was also where I realized I didn’t have to follow someone else’s model of ministry. The Lord showed me that He wasn’t asking me to replicate others, but inviting me to take my place in the body of Christ, and I began to see that the parts of my story I once overlooked or felt unsure about could actually be used for His purposes. That shift gave me clarity and confidence, helping me see that I can use my creativity to share the fame and renown of Jesus in a way that is both faithful and authentic, and that’s when my dream really became clear.
How does your faith go hand in hand with pursuing your dream?
My faith and my pursuit of this dream go hand in hand because they both require surrender. I’ve had to let go of the desire to take credit for what I get to do and recognize it as an invitation from the Lord. The more I grow, the more I see that any creativity or inspiration I have comes from the Spirit, not just from me. That shifts everything. Instead of striving to prove myself, I get to create from a place of dependence, trusting the Lord with both the process and the impact.
What’s one or two practical steps you take to keep moving forward?
One thing I’m intentional about is not attaching my creations to myself personally, but holding them with an open hand and remembering they’re not a reflection of my worth. As I stay aligned with the Spirit through time with the Lord, I’m reminded that creativity isn’t something I have to force, but something He allows to flow through me. That perspective keeps me moving forward with clarity and trust instead of pressure, and I’ve found it’s actually a cure to burnout, because I’m creating from dependence rather than trying to prove myself.
What encouragement would you share with someone who’s going after their dream?
I’d say don’t get caught up in trying to prove yourself or compare your path to someone else’s. The most freeing thing for me has been realizing that the Lord isn’t asking me to replicate anyone else, but to be faithful with what He’s given me. Stay close to Him and let that be your foundation, because that’s where clarity, confidence, and direction come from. When you’re rooted there, you don’t have to force things or carry the weight on your own. When it gets hard, remember why you started, because if your dream is rooted in something bigger than yourself, it will carry you through the seasons where motivation fails.
