Remember when you were a kid and anything and everything was possible? What if we went back to that? What if, rather than thinking too much about it or giving a thought to what other people think, we just went for it?

What if, just for a day or even just for a decision, we followed our faith into the idea that dreams are real and they came true? Wouldn’t that be great? I think we can get back to it. Well, if we really choose to get back to it that is.

Somewhere along the way between being a kid and growing up, whimsy and wonder can start to fade. Color begins to grey and adventure does the same. It doesn’t have to be that way though. We can’t turn back the time but we can turn it over to God and ask Him to bring back the kid-like faith we used to have.

We can lose the thinking cap, put on a party hat and spark the fun that’s been longing to be had again. It doesn’t take much to get started either. It can start with a smile that turns into a laugh, and who knows - maybe even turns into a song & dance in your kitchen in the middle of the afternoon.

Maybe, when we remember to have some more fun, we can remember having a dream is part of the fun too. We all grow up, but we don’t have to grow out of the fun, the faith, or the dreams that were always meant to be ours.

So, get back to the fun and go on the adventure. And, remember - it doesn’t start somewhere out there, it begins with the confetti already inside you.
