Insight (258)

Whenever you do something new, try something different, or put yourself out there, there’s always a level of uncertainty that comes along with it.

When any outcome is uncertain, imagination will come alive and start painting pictures for what might happen next.

Sometimes the pictures are really great & others times they’re just not the best. When what you’re imagining isn’t really helping, it’s time to reframe, refocus, and have yourself a redo.

Imagination is always at play and doesn’t always get it right the first time. It’s creative, it’s wild, and it still needs a reminder here and there to color within the lines of faith.

The thing is - imagination will do all it can to guess what’s up next, but God’s the only one who really knows what’s up ahead.

So rather than letting your mind fill uncertainty with guesses, fill it in with faith instead. Things will feel a whole lot more certain when you do.
