Eryn Adkins
Eryn Eddy Adkins is a North Georgia mountains–based podcast host and founder of So Worth Loving. After years of hosting 200+ interviews as a contracted podcast personality, she stepped into building her own show, the So Worth Loving Podcast.
Her work is rooted in both grit and grace, shaped by real-life experiences that have refined her voice and perspective. Through honest conversations around identity, faith, and healing, she helps people understand their worth and learn how to live from that truth. She’s passionate about creating space where people feel seen, challenged, and reminded that growth is rarely easy, but always worth it.
What dream are you currently turning into reality?
I’m turning a career in broadcasting into reality through podcasting, but more than that, I feel like I’m stepping into what I was always meant to do.
Over the past several years, I’ve hosted 200+ interviews as a contracted podcast personality, and those conversations shaped me just as much as they shaped the listeners. They gave me the foundation and the clarity to create something of my own.
Now I host So Worth Loving Podcast, where we have honest conversations about what it means to know your worth and how to actually live your life from that truth. It’s about identity, healing, faith, and the quiet work of rebuilding and becoming.
As we step into season 2, I’m being more intentional with the vision, the storytelling, and the kind of impact I want it to have. I don’t just want to create content, I want to create conversations that stay with people and help them see themselves differently.
When did you first realize you discovered your dream?
It took me a while to admit I wanted to pursue this career, mostly because I was afraid I would fail at it and the world would watch. It wasn’t one big moment, it was a slow realization. It happened in the middle of conversations. Sitting across from someone, asking questions, and feeling something shift, not just in them, but in me too. I realized I felt most alive creating space for people to be seen, heard, and understood. With every interview, that became clearer. What started as an opportunity became a north star.
So many people feel pressure to have all the answers, or at least look like they do. Podcasting has taught me the opposite. If you stay curious, you ask better questions. Remain open enough to change your mind, because every perspective you hear shapes you. That’s where real growth happens.
How does your faith go hand in hand with pursuing your dream?
My faith is deeply intertwined with how I pursue this dream because it’s been shaped through both doubt and redemption. There was a moment where I was told I shouldn’t have a microphone, that my voice could lead people the wrong way. And almost immediately after, God placed one in my hands and invited me into a space where I spent years reminding women they are loved and seen by Him. That tension changed me.
It showed me that people’s opinions can be loud, but they are not final. God’s truth is. So I don’t pursue this dream trying to earn a voice. I pursue it knowing I’ve already been given one. And my responsibility is to use it with humility, honesty, and trust that He will carry it where it needs to go.
What’s one or two practical steps you take to keep moving forward?
I focus on two things: clarity and consistency. Know why I’m doing it, and keep showing up even when it’s not perfect. That’s what keeps me moving forward. Write down a few prayers or text a friend to remind you to keep showing up when doubt hits.
What encouragement would you share with someone who’s going after their dream?
You don’t need to have everything figured out to begin. Most of the clarity you’re looking for comes after you start. There will always be reasons to wait and sometimes that is discernment but sometimes it's the fear of failing, fear of being seen, fear of getting it wrong. Identify which you are and go ask someone out for coffee that is doing what you want to do. Waiting doesn’t remove fear, it just delays growth. There is so much growth in going after your dreams. You will learn the relationship you have with vulnerability and all your relationships will benefit from you learning that.
