Patrick’s a storyteller and art director originally from São Paulo, Brazil, now getting after his dreams from Kissimmee, FL.
Leaning into God and relying on his faith, Patrick has taken the risks needed to build his dreams and make a difference. No matter the setback or future unknown, Patrick has stepped out with a sense of adventure through every twist and turn along the way. Having the opportunity to work with artists like Isaias Saad, Maverick City, and Brandon Lake, Patrick’s work has continued to reach people beyond what he could’ve imagined.
As Patrick continues to create, He continues encouraging others that if God would help him reach his dreams, He’ll help them reach theirs too.
What dream are you currently turning into reality?
Working in the creative field, mainly creating powerful narratives that reach people and start some kind of debate.
When did you first realize you discovered your dream?
Since a young age, I've always been a child immersed in my own world. Drawing comics on folded sheets, imaginary films and using tools I had at hand to express my feelings.
How does your faith go hand in hand with pursuing your dream?
When I had the realization that my gift is a direct channel of communication with God speaking to and through me, I could have more dissent to develop myself professionally and in my ministry.
What’s one or two practical steps you take to keep moving forward?
Don't get used to the sacred. We can find ourselves in that place where miracles and supernatural manifestations can sound familiar and ordinary. The foundation of our faith is supernatural. Invest in the secret. Our inspiration comes from this place of communion.
Regarding the creative process - Always keep a “library” of references, even if it’s not related to any project. This helps hone your ideas and keeps you staying inspired.
What encouragement would you share with someone who’s going after their dream?
What you do is an immediate result of your life with God.
