When it comes to the kind of fear that riles up worry, stirs up anxiety, and pokes fun at faith, we need to do all we can to call it out and stand up for what we believe in.
The thing is, fear like that is a complete liar, and it’s about time we all called it out already. I mean, as much as it tries to fly under the radar, the reality is - it doesn’t play nice, and it never plays fair. It plays dirty. It only wants to cause trouble, and it’s really time we do something about it.
With that said, we’ve gotta be determined to shake it all off, call on every bit of courage, and put on the mindset that remembers the truth. I know it’d be great if there were an easier way - maybe a little less dramatic, even. But when fear is twisting words, tangling thoughts, and turning against faith, it’s gonna take consistent effort to shut it down - completely.
The thing is, fear doesn’t need to exactly stop us. It only needs to misguide our mind, confuse our thinking, and throw us off course. So the quicker we can recognize the spiral and put an end to it, the sooner it’ll all straighten back out and we can keep moving forward.
Remember, fear is an unapologetic nuisance, but it can be put in its place when we call it out, stand up for ourselves, and full-send into faith.
So when fear puffs up like it always does, remember it doesn’t have any actual power - it only pretends to. The real power belongs to us from God and works through the thoughts we have and the actions we take.
So, rather than ignoring the fear and hoping it’ll go away on its own. Let’s do something about it. It doesn’t deserve a voice, it doesn’t deserve our attention, and it doesn’t deserve our time. It deserves to be put on the spot, called out for what it is (a liar), and put in its place.
And, that’s having no place at all.
