There’s gonna be times when things don’t go your way, when someone gets in your way, and when negative thoughts try to get you to look the other way.
Even though you won’t always know when you’re about to face an annoyance or bump into a frustration, you can always give yourself a heads up before you do.
The way to do that is to remember that big dreams aren’t stopped by big setbacks, they’re usually taken down by one small distraction at a time.
So, when someone talks down to you, forgive them as quickly as you can. When you think something is gonna work and it doesn’t, regroup and try it again. When you had faith to take the step but you tripped instead, get back up and trust God anyway.
The faster you can turn the negative things that happen to you into positive things happening for you, the quicker you’ll find the next step forward. And, that’s how you keep going. That’s how you make progress. That’s how small distractions can become significant redirections that eventually lead you right to your dreams.
