Whenever you’re after something extraordinary in life, The Ordinary will do whatever it can to push you around and do its best to hold you down. When that happens, don’t let it. Push back and rise above it. Not against the negative, but toward the positive.
The thing is, negativity will wanna drop by and pessimism will wanna pop in, but you don’t have to let either of them do that at all. The Ordinary has a habit of taking big ideas and miniaturizing them for no other reason than disbelief. It has a tough time with faith and an even harder time with courage.
So, rather than entertaining thoughts that misalign with God thoughts, kick them out instead. They don’t belong in the mind of someone who knows God can pull off the impossible.
Rather than giving The Ordinary a chance to speak up with all its meaningless mind chatter, do all you can to change the subject, switch up the topics, and redirect your focus toward thoughts that support everything you’re believing for.
No matter what The Ordinary might say, you don’t need to listen to its lies, and you don’t need to stick around for its nonsense. Brush off the distractions and turn all your attention to faith’s reality - the one that knows the extraordinary life you’re thinking about, believing for, and moving toward is completely possible.
